Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Guard who has hired him part-time. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bertram was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the east to a Merchant, Geoffrey learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He bought a falchion and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and further expansion of business

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he's attracted to the pc

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to reunite with his old friends
