History: Born in the south to a Tanner, Gunter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has worked as a Tanner like his father before him.

History: Conrad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

History: Ernest lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
