Description: This man wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His hair is auburn and curly. His amber eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During his travels, Ralf and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ralf discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ralf fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he has a crush on the local soapmaker

Description: He has the majority of his body covered in plate. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: Drogo is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.
History: Drogo was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Crown-heir, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He has brown hair. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a sickle, but if one is not available he will default to his greataxe. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balimaar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is greedy

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Courier they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
