Balimaar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He struck the Seamstress job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in longbow use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Raymond was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
