His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His first spouse was a Dilettante, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Adelard was born with his mother's beautiful face. Through the years after Adelard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Adelard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
