History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to be a navigator again

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Roger has worked very hard to control his curse. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Merchant father left him crippled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and retire the richest man in the north

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many illithids want him driven away
