History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Hugh never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Ernest will drive conversation. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ernest does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
