History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he seems to be bored by most things
