History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balimaar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Alex was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sage.
