History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Nicholas and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He tends to wear a large white jacket, marred by sweets. He keeps his long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. He is baby faced.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He struck the Courier job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a white costume with the symbols of the sun god on his torso. He has a long blonde beard with little hanging trinkets. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Clerebold enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gifted from a young age, Clerebold studied abroad. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: He typically wears green cloth garments or leather armor. He carries a battered longbow and tarnished quarterstaff as well. His hair is blonde and curly. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Dean was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He's in love.
