Description: He wears a simple brown robe with grey stripes complete with hood, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'3" when asserting himself. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: He wears silk and lounges about seductively. He carries with him a set of pickaxes, each one with a topaz on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His hair is white and very short. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.
Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jocelyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He is dressed in earthy colors with a blue and violet handkerchief worn on his right side. He wears a colorful flower in his chestnut hair. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is a Crown-heir first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: Rolf was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: This man is very fat, and does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His tied-back hair is golden. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Arnold isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.
History: Arnold was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mercenary. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
