History: Heward was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Merchant. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gifted student he started as a Layabout, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Description: An older man who wears a brown costume with the symbols of luck on his torso, he is not a threatening figure. His auburn hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. The war was a terrible time for him, and Adelard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. A freak accident while working with his Spy father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Human compassion.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bounty Hunter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants his loneliness to end

Description: 5'1" and muscular, this northern man tends to wear a large yellow jacket. His top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
