Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a tan coat with green slacks. His hair is long and brown with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Ernest was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 49. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Locksmith. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Roofer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Voice: Speaks like tongue is numb

Personality: Richard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was born in a small island village. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and retire the richest man in the west
