Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He typically wears red cloth garments or leather armor. He has a very tight haircut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: This late middle aged man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down and is in decent physical shape. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and money/treasure

Description: He prefers to wear flannel. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Trym grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: To be a Bather again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.
