History: Bertram was born with his father's beautiful face. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). During his travels, Bertram and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Bertram discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Bertram fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Sailor arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.
