During his travels, Heward and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Heward discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Heward fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
