Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Hugh was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is typically in his Carter uniform. He keeps his auburn hair in a flapper bob. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: Patrick is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born to a Beggar, his father struggled to pay the bills. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
