History: Born to a Spice Merchant, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and retire the richest man in the south
