History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving William alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His first spouse was a Navigator, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Miller, and he later adopted a second son.
