History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Gunter lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. After coming to the age of reason, John took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he seems to be bored by most things
