History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born in the east to a Baker, Robert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
