History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gifted student he started as a Performer, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Chad was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He got into the Ploughman business at a young age. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is greedy
