Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Sailor business.

History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
