Anselm's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Healer; and he's in love
