History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Gunter was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gunter's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Jocelyn was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
