History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bounty Hunter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and retire the richest man in the west
