Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: This man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy golden stubble. He wears a white tunic with blue highlights, and long grey pants that bunch up around his shoes. He has a hunchback. His golden hair, when down, is lengthy. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Engraver. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He got into the Engraver business at a young age. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. A true patriot, Simon would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He struck the Bowyer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and wants to open a new tavern

He keeps his long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. This brown eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Brewer who has hired him part-time. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Priest. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He's in love; and wants to work out more often
