History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Hubert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Hubert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Hubert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: Standing 5'6", this man wears an entirely red suit with black socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His black hair is singed and shortened. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He very much looks the part of a Cook, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'1" when asserting himself. He has no hair. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Guard, but he got bored and became a Cook. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cook for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Guard again.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has amber eyes and a tan hat with a white feather.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A freak accident while working with his Animal Trainer father left him crippled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: The child of a Marshal, who enjoyed hunting, Miles was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to prove his worth to the world
