History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Gerard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Rolf abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Unemployed born in the past three hundred years. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born in the north to a Unemployed, Kyle learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Unemployed work with an outfit from a few towns over. Unemployed work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roland does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the east to a Knight, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Knight. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
