History: Adam lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Beggar.

Through the years after Bernard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Bernard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His first spouse was a Fortune-teller, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
