Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Anselm's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Anselm alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
