History: Norman hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Norman fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. After coming to the age of reason, Don took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland.
