Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Alex has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

History: Born in the south to a Guard, Chad learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
