When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a Jeweler, his father struggled to pay the bills. His childhood dream was to be a Jeweler, but he was a colossal failure. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: Born in the south to a Miller, Kody learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miller work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He comes from a rich western family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: To be a Map Maker again; and he is unsatisfied with his job
