Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He takes great joy in being the best Bricklayer in town.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and a deep hatred of gnolls
