Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears tattered old clothes. His silver hair is heavily combed to the left. His brown eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Born in the north to a Miller, Heward learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has worked as a Miller like his mother before him.
Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Hunter will drive conversation. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Hunter was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He has worked as a Miner like his mother before him.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His black hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Roland's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Roland took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up scythe and armor he uses now. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: Clerebold hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
