Description: A middle-aged man, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, and is pretty ugly. His auburn hair is still thick. His amber eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aldous embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'4" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His moppish golden hair is in a traditional bowl cut. This hazel eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gerald's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: He got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Now he works as a music tutor during his time off.

Description: He wears tattered old clothes. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his pickaxe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are a pleasant brown.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: He comes from a rich western family. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and to unite with his sister

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He is portly but not overly obese. His blonde hair is still thick. He has brown eyes and a brown hat with a black feather.
Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Diggory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and many orcs want him driven away
