History: He was born in the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
