History: Born in the south to a Miller, Aldous learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. The war was a terrible time for him, and Chad does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Chad was born the youngest of three triplets. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: He comes from a rich western family. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He now owns his own business.
