History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Ernest took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Don lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barrister they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Fisher, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination, and is pretty ugly. He has no hair. This blue eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He uses divination through singing.

History: The child of a Masseuse, who enjoyed hunting, Percival was taken on many hunting expeditions. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep pastel leather and dull green iron scale mail. His white hair is long and unkept. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it
