However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Through the years after Trym was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Trym's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Trym and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Chad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jocelyn grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Detective they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second son.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
