Roger Nibley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His auburn hair is thinning but still full. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roger does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His childhood dream was to be a Doctor, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: To be a Doctor again.

Simon Ogden, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He stands about 5'8" and prefers to wear white clothing when he does not wear armor. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His black hair is lengthy. This blue eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Simon took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He has never given up on his music dream.

Henry Browning, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'6" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears tattered old clothes. His brown hair is cut short. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Henry was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Henry's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Peter Preston, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a tan coat. He carries with him a set of sickles, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has styled his blonde hair well, parting it to the left. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his top tan hat.
Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He plays an instrument quite well.
History: Peter was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Peter fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.
