Hugh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Baker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ploughman, and he later adopted a second daughter.

He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. History: Odo was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
