History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Tim lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born into a rich family. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Slave Trader and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Slave Trader responsibilities is difficult; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
