History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When Manfred reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: He dresses well, wearing brown shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. This amber eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 42. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Clerebold grew up listening to his father's many stories. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a worn and beaten armor. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His red hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bow.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Description: This man wears brown painted combat armor at almost all times. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His head has been shaved. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
