History: He comes from a rich western family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jocelyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Gilbert enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gilbert was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he feels kind of lost in life

History: William lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
