Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Patrick embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He takes great joy in being the best Unemployed in town.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He's also a talented Herbalist, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Unemployed responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Roger was born the youngest of three triplets. Roger abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and money/treasure

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is content
