History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Hunter was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has worked as a Sailor like his father before him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting dire rats, the young Randal began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
