When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Gerard was born the youngest of three triplets. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Gerard's homeland. Gerard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Gomory hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gomory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
