History: Cory was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Description: This tall, slender man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. He has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he wears green trousers with tan and black striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His black hair is cut short. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. A true patriot, Gunter would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gunter grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
